Tresor Paris, a UK Jewellery Award winner has once again collaborated with Fyodor Golan to help put the finishing touches to their SS14 collection ‘Electric Children’.

A grey cloudy morning in Central London, splashes of intense colour could be seen high above street level in an enourmous minimal function hall, with floor to ceiling windows sweeping the skyline.

280 High Holborn hosted the buzzing fashion event, which fired the starting gun for London Fashion Week 2013 with one of the hottest designers in the fashion capital, Fyodor Podgorny and Golan Frydman.

Launching their collection, ‘Electric Children’ Fyodor Golan hosted celebrities like Laura Whitmore and Dionne Bromfield, not to mention our favourite blogger Mun Wai Wong. The show itself focused of the reinvention of ‘sportswear luxe’ using sharp geometric forms and a cacophony of textures such as leather, snakeskin, and sheer flowing fabrics.

Inspired by motorcycle wear, this high fashion pair succeeded in transforming a masculine look into a sophisticated, feminine style with short jackets and slimline skirts.

Ceramic Tresor Paris beads were sewn on to bralets, tops and dresses, embellishing and adding another layer of texture to the collection. Tresor Paris were delighted to see the pair dazzle the fashion elite, receiving a warm round of applause after the show and ensuring their name will be remembered at London Fashion Week 2013!

A warm congratulations to them both!

An incredible time was had at this year’s International Jewellery London event in Earls Court. Marking its final voyage in the enormous convention hall of Earl’s Court 2, thousands of industry big shots took the opportunity to spot talent, design and meet their contemporaries.  Tresor Paris set out to make their stand a little different, decked out like a Parisian street, the structure came complete with Crêpe stand, chocolate fountain and cocktail bar. Amongst the cobblestone streets rested several French boutique façades, which exhibited the new collections.

Over 500 new designs were on display to the visitors over the four days, the most popular of which were Neptune, Orion, and the Ara 18 carat silver collection all received an enthusiastic thumbs-up from the trade and visitors. 7 trade packages from Tresor Paris were available for traders at the show, all of which were warmly received.

Amongst Tresor’s exclusive guests casting their eyes over the magnificent array of contemporary and classic design were Big Brother’s Gina Rio and boy band Times Red, both of whom found the new collection inspiring!

A bespoke piece created by Tresor Paris for PPQ named Amour Rouge, and 1920s inspired Gloriole featured on a range of catwalks throughout the show, and even received welcoming applause on the runway! Creative director Lillian Lousky said of the show,

“It was a delight to hear all the positive responses to our new collection, and to meet like-minded industry members.”

This was the last and 57th year that the IJL was held at the Earl’s Court 2 venue, and will be moving to its new home in Olympia. The IJL remains one of the UK’s most prestigious jewellery shows, and it is always exciting to have the opportunity to be involved.

Tresor Paris spent an incredible evening last night at the MOBOs nominations party. Held at the illustrious London Connaught Rooms in Mayfair, guests were greeted with incredible British style canapés and flowing wine, champagne and cocktails. In the glittering golden Grand Hall Tresor Paris were seated front and centre to watch incredible performances from So Solid Crew (covered in Tresor Paris jewellery), MOBO Unsung winners In’Sight, Fuse ODG, and X factor’s Jahmene Douglas.  In’Sight, the unsigned vocalists were for many the highlight of the evening, and So Solid Crew’s rendition of Happy Birthday to the MOBOs was definitely a close second!

Organiser Kanya King (also glittering in a beautiful Tresor Paris necklace) gave a rousing speech about the 18 years of history behind the MOBOs, really opening the audience’s eyes to the all year round nature of the organization, and its dedication to exposing and promoting niche music to the masses. The largest urban music awards in Europe put on a showstopper of a night, and in between mini burgers and pick ‘n’ mix, Tresor Paris had a chance to meet some of the stars and present them with their very own Tresor Paris jewellery. Fuse ODG, after performing his hit single Antenna, came off stage to be gifted a stunning Cornimont White Crystal & Black Agate One Piece Necklace, he loved the piece- in his words “Jewel me up!” Best Male Act nominee Wiley also went away with a beautiful matte black agate and pavé set silver Liesse Blanc bracelet from the brand new men’s collection. Best Album nominee Angel, with his incredible new release About Time, popped over to the table to say hi, and left with Ombre Or, a stunning yellow gold plated bracelet with a pavé set white crystal bead at the centre. So many brilliant speeches, performances, and heartfelt well wishers gave this evening an undeniably electric atmosphere.

Tresor Paris are truly beaming with pride to be sponsoring the Best Female Act category this year, which this year has a mind blowing calibre of talent to choose from- Jessie J, Jessie Ware, Laura Mvula, Lianna La Havas, Rita Ora are all going head to head for this incredible honour. Don’t forget to support this amazing organization and vote for your favourite artist, and keep your eyes peeled for more news and exclusive gossip with Tresor Paris!
