The night kicked off with Retail Jewellery editor Laura McCreddie welcoming all guests to the glamorous and exclusive Grosvenor Hotel, Park Lane in the heart of Mayfair, London.
Hosted by radio two DJ, Laure Laverne, all guests sat back in their chairs and sipped champagne while anxiously waiting to hear if they were going to be winners on the night.
First category to be read out was the Marketing Campaign of the Year. All nominees were read out with the eventual winner being none other than Tresor Paris. This was the first time this category was featured at the awards and Tresor Paris is very proud and honored to be the first recipients.
This annual event recognises and celebrates the accomplishments of all involved in the jewellery industry from individuals to brands, boutiques and independent retailers.
The judges said the brand, famed for its disco bracelets and now diversifying its product offering, made savvy marketing look simple. “An overnight explosion with all marketing avenues followed” said one judge. Another said Tresor Paris achieved “high visibility to the consumer, which often takes years of work”.
