Jewellery brand Tresor Paris once again partnered with Capital FM for the presentation of a cheque worth an amazing £23,859.40 for the charity; Help a Capital Child. Former JLS member, current Capital FM presenter and host of BBC One’s The Voice, Marvin Humes was on hand to accept the cheque from Tresor Paris on behalf of the JLS Foundation, alongside Lucy from Help a Capital Child.

The money was all raised at the amazing Capital Rocks event in November, for which Tresor Paris were the headline sponsors. For this one night, Capital’s Help a Capital Child and the JLS Foundation partnered to raise money to support ground-breaking research to develop better, kinder treatments for children. The evening, held at The Roundhouse in London, attracted an array of famous faces including Niall Horan from One Direction, Little Mix, Jessie J and JLS, as well as many others, many of whom were spotted wearing Tresor Paris jewellery. Tresor Paris were proud to have played such a prominent role in the evening, including the donation of over 200 prizes for the Wheel of Fortune game, as well as donating an awe-inspiring bespoke crystal covered digital radio for a silent auction.

Help a Capital Child was set up in 1975 to help disadvantaged young people across the UK. Supporting young people affected by a variety of issues including abuse, homelessness, disability, poverty and illness, it is an amazing charity that has a lasting legacy. The money donated, by Tresor Paris, will be used to bring kinder treatments to children with cancer across the UK through the work of the JLS Foundation, who were the benefactors of the Capital Rocks event. The JLS Foundation was set up in 2010 by the band’s four members; Aston, JB, Marvin and Oritsé. The charity aims to increase awareness and education in on the benefits on leading healthy lives and improve the lives of young people, as well as funding project which are close to the band’s hearts.

Tresor Paris recently collaborated with the JLS Foundation to create a collection of jewellery. Ranging in price from £10 – £39, this collection features lilac or purple coloured crystal designs. 25% of the price of each item of jewellery is donated to the JLS foundation. As he accepted the cheque, Marvin was wearing a bracelet from the JLS Foundation collection from Tresor Paris and it looked perfect!

On Tuesday 26th November 2013, the Tresor Paris team attended The Enchanted Ball hosted by Macmillan Cancer Support.

Guests arrived at the Dorchester Hotel in Mayfair to be greeted by a glass of champagne and were given the opportunity to buy a leaf from the ‘Tree of Life’. Each leaf would correspond to an amazing prize, including a hamper from Harrods, dinner for two at an assortment of restaurants, and tickets to theatre productions.

Doors to the ballroom then opened promptly at 8pm, and the University Gospel Choir of the Year sang as everyone made their way to their seats. Gold trees adorned with twinkling lights were sporadically placed as centre pieces on tables, with beautiful flower arrangements on other tables. Locations from children’s books were used as table names; including Atlantis, Pixies Hollow and Dragon Island to name a few.

Macmillan’s Chief Executive, Ciarán Devane, welcomed guests to the Ball and gave an overview of the work the charity has been doing. Jamie Walters, Chairman of the Enchanted Ball Committee 2013, then gave a speech and wished everyone an enchanted evening.

The amazing live band Totem, performed as dinner was served. Throughout the evening there were performances from the cast of Les Misérables, Phantom of the Opera and Cats, who finished with a spine tingling rendition of One Day More from Les Misérables. Stand-up comedian Shappi Khorsandi also gave a hilarious performance, including an impromptu auction for a plate of dessert which eventually sold for an amazing £100!

One of the highlights of the evening was the Live Auction conducted by Lord Archer, with prizes including Enchanted Treasure Chests from Derren Brown, Benedict Cumberbatch and Emma Thompson, as well as holidays to Thailand, Tanzania, the Seychelles and South Africa. A jaw dropping £50,500 was raised in this auction alone! Throughout the evening there was also a silent auction, where guests used tablets on their tables to bid for prizes including a beautiful Tresor Paris crystal apple ornament. Other prizes included a signed guitar from Mick Jagger, VIP tickets for V Festival, a cooking course with Theo Randall and many other incredible lots. When the silent auction finished at 11.30pm, the Tresor Paris crystal apple had reached £600!

After all the excitement of the auction, guests were reminded of why they were there when a young lady whose sister was diagnosed with cancer gave an inspiring speech. She discussed how Macmillan Cancer Support helped her and her family deal with the life changing diagnosis. A Macmillan nurse also spoke about her work and how she supports her patients.

By the end of the evening, over £77,000 was raised for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Fresh new band New Bouncepopped into the Tresor Paris Hatton Garden showroom to follow in the footsteps of their successful peers JLS, N-Dubz and TinchyStryder.

New bounce caused a storm of support when they appeared on this year’s series of Britain’s Got Talent, singing Jessie J’s Price Tag followed by Bill Withers Aint No Sunshine.

Judges Amanda Holden andSimon Cowellboth backed the group with comments such as “JLS have got some competition, congratulations!” and “This is a group that would work well inthe real world… I love these four guys.” Positive remarks all round, with the group even being compared to the infamous Jackson 5!

It was Tresor Paris’ pleasure then, when two of the boys decided to pop in to pick up a few new products. They left very happy with the ‘Monaco’ and ‘St Gervais’ bracelets from the ‘Orion’ collection as well as the ‘Verfeil’ and ‘La Fleche’ from the ‘Neptune’ range.

Mitchell, 16, Sterling, 16, MJ, 13 and Lorenzo, 13, are currently working on their new Viral release ‘Wouldn’t Change a Thing’ which will be available from February 2012.

Songtress Amelia Lily finished third in this year’s series of The X Factor, taking a huge fan base with her when she left.

Having impressed audiences with hit singles such as The Show Must Go On, Amelia Lily has shown true fighting spirit and has wowed viewers with both her vocal talents and individual style.

Amelia, only 17 but already admired by many, has been spotted on various occasions with the Tresor Paris ‘Bastille’ bracelet and even wore it for her performance with fellow X Factor contestants and bands JLS and One Direction.

The group sang Wishing on a Starfor the children’s charity ‘Together for Short Lives’ which is set to be a number one this Christmas – this will be the fourth time The X Factor has achieved a number one with their charity singles.

Amelia was given the ‘Bastille’ by her dance school and has rarely been seen without it since – perhaps it is her good luck charm – she even referred to it as “the best present ever”!

Despite finishing third, the little lady with the big voice declared that it “wasn’t the last of Amelia Lily… My ambition was to get to the final and I did it.”

Having already gained over 370, 000 followers on Twitter, Amelia Lily is no doubt going to be one of the biggest talents to come out of The X Factor and hopefully, will be sticking around on our screens in future years!
