Jewellery brand Tresor Paris once again partnered with Capital FM for the presentation of a cheque worth an amazing £23,859.40 for the charity; Help a Capital Child. Former JLS member, current Capital FM presenter and host of BBC One’s The Voice, Marvin Humes was on hand to accept the cheque from Tresor Paris on behalf of the JLS Foundation, alongside Lucy from Help a Capital Child.

The money was all raised at the amazing Capital Rocks event in November, for which Tresor Paris were the headline sponsors. For this one night, Capital’s Help a Capital Child and the JLS Foundation partnered to raise money to support ground-breaking research to develop better, kinder treatments for children. The evening, held at The Roundhouse in London, attracted an array of famous faces including Niall Horan from One Direction, Little Mix, Jessie J and JLS, as well as many others, many of whom were spotted wearing Tresor Paris jewellery. Tresor Paris were proud to have played such a prominent role in the evening, including the donation of over 200 prizes for the Wheel of Fortune game, as well as donating an awe-inspiring bespoke crystal covered digital radio for a silent auction.

Help a Capital Child was set up in 1975 to help disadvantaged young people across the UK. Supporting young people affected by a variety of issues including abuse, homelessness, disability, poverty and illness, it is an amazing charity that has a lasting legacy. The money donated, by Tresor Paris, will be used to bring kinder treatments to children with cancer across the UK through the work of the JLS Foundation, who were the benefactors of the Capital Rocks event. The JLS Foundation was set up in 2010 by the band’s four members; Aston, JB, Marvin and Oritsé. The charity aims to increase awareness and education in on the benefits on leading healthy lives and improve the lives of young people, as well as funding project which are close to the band’s hearts.

Tresor Paris recently collaborated with the JLS Foundation to create a collection of jewellery. Ranging in price from £10 – £39, this collection features lilac or purple coloured crystal designs. 25% of the price of each item of jewellery is donated to the JLS foundation. As he accepted the cheque, Marvin was wearing a bracelet from the JLS Foundation collection from Tresor Paris and it looked perfect!

Tresor Paris are overjoyed to report that budding The Voice star Joseph Apostol, 21, dropped in for a whirlwind tour of the Tresor Paris London HQ! Originally from the Phillipines, Apostol claims to have found the transition of moving to UK very tough, and misses the tight family community of his homeland. He described to us how singing became his escape, and a vital tool in building his confidence. His family spurred him on backstage at the hit BBC show’s auditions as he performed a show stopping rendition of Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow.
The judges were instantly blown away by his soulful vocals, with both Jessie J and Tom Jones turning the chairs around and battling for the talented singer! The Tresor Paris team were on the edge of their seats as they watched the judges compete against each other to snap young Joseph up like a bowl of chicken adobo! Jessie J cited him as a vital ‘asset to the team’, and Tom told him he had an ‘original sounding voice’ and that he knew that his decision to hold out for the last slot on his team had paid off the moment Joseph started to sing!

Joseph loved the selection at Tresor Paris and left with two bracelets; the first was a black agate, rose gold plated silver bracelet with pave-set white crystal from the Andromeda collection, which boasts a stunning contrast of textures, the second bracelet was Rene, a black crystal and magnetite bracelet that is sleek and sophisticated, while still catching light and sparkling beautifully. Joseph also fell for one of our brand new watches from the ISL Iconic Style Luxury range, taking with him a black silicone black crystal encrusted watch with sterling silver bezel, the result was the overall look of a man facing stardom, ready to blow away the judges with his new bling!
Now a member of global superstar Tom Jones’ chosen twelve, the team at Tresor Paris wish him the best of luck in the battle rounds, and will be cheering him on every step of the way!

Tresor Paris are delighted to have seen MOBO founder Kanya King MBE wearing a collection of Tresor Paris necklaces at the prestigious and highly respectable BBC Radio 4’s Women’s Hour Power List event!

King looked every part the power dresser in a smart silver silk suit combined with three of our most popular necklaces from the Tresor Paris Neptune collection. Two white crystal and frosted stainless steel necklaces contrasted elegantly with a single black crystal necklace from the same collection.

Kanya King founded the MOBO’s in 1996, and alongside supporting a wide range of diverse and innovative projects, elevated urban music in to the mainstream not only in the UK, but worldwide. Bringing household names such as Rita Ora, Kano and Miss Dynamite to the spotlight, Kanya has left her indelible mark on British culture.

Not satisfied with changing the face of UK music alone, Kanya King is also a member of a Home Office task force aimed at reducing gun violence and a founding member of Net Women, a cooperative body of women in the media. Kanya King truly is a captivating inspiration to us all, man or woman and a gleaming role model for the youth of Britain!

Rubbing shoulders with high profile women such as Tracy Emin, Stella McCartney and Her Majesty the Queen, Kanya received the mixed blessing of being the only black woman to feature on the list. King said that she hope this would be a start to “women and people of colour achieving equality in the workplace.” The team at Tresor Paris congratulate Kanya and hope you guard that beautiful sparkle fiercely!
